Questions and Answers about
Perfect Marriage Ministries, Inc.

1.     Q:  Who runs Perfect Marriage Ministries, Inc.?
A:  Dr. Joseph & Mary Racite, who operate as a marital team in conducting seminars, retreats and presentations, and in administering the functions of this non-profit, non-denominational Christian-based organization.

2.     Q:  What are your professional backgrounds?
A:  Dr. Racite has 27 years of Christian Counseling experience with earned doctorates in both Psychology and Marriage & Family Services.   Dr. Racite is a Board Certifed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Board Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor.  Dr. Racite is also Vice President of the Licensed Marriage & Family Counselor's Association, and a Charter Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Dr. Racite works as a private practitioner at Christian Family Services, located in Cherry Hill, NJ., and is an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Valley Forge Christian College.  His wife Mary is close to completing her Bachelor's Degree in the area of Human Services.  After completing her degree, she plans on pursuing her Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Services.  " Mary and Joseph" have worked together in churches and retreats as a Christian Marital Team.  They have been presenters at Sandy Cove Ministries for its' Summer Conference.

3.     Q:  How long have you both been Christians?
A:  Dr. Racite accepted Christ in 1974 and his wife Mary accepted Christ in 1967.

4.     Q:  What is the long-range goal of your ministry?
A:  To teach married couples God's blueprint for attaining " the perfect marriage;" to circumvent divorce; to enrich, heal & strengthen marriages on an international basis; to strengthen the Body of Christ; to win as many souls to Christ as possible and to glorify God.

5.     Q:  Do you have any publications?
A:  Dr. Racite's book, The Perfect Marriage, was first published in 1999 by "You Deserve It" Creations.  In October, 2003, a reputable publishing company in South Korea published The Perfect Marriage in Korean.  It is currently in its' 2nd printing!

6.    Q: Will everyone who attends a Perfect Marriage Seminar attain a perfect marriage?
A:  Participants will be given a clear and practical blueprint for attaining " the perfect marriage" in accordance with the Word of God.  The ultimate attainment of a marriage that confirms (in letter & spirit) to God's infallible Word, rests upon the couple's degree of faith, their obedience to the Word of God and their commitment and desire to attain one.

The perfect marriage is a moment-by-moment proposition wherein spouses reciprocally make a decision to practice love through giving of themselves in an effort to meet each other's marital needs and fulfill their marriage vows.  Such can be accomplished but only through the power of God through faith and obedience.

7.     Q:  Do you welcome Pastoral input before or after the marriage seminar?
A:  Pastoral input is very important because it enables us to focus our attention and presentation on the specific needs and problems of a particular church group and, also, enables us to maximize our effectiveness.  What is most important is for Pastors to reinforce the content of the presentation throughout the year after the seminar has been presented.

8.     Q:  Which church do both of you attend?
A:  Marlton Assembly of God, located in Marlton, N.J.

9.     Q:  Can Pastors attend the marriage seminar?
A:    Yes!  They and their married children are invited to attend free of charge!

10.   Q:  Do you offer any other denominations other than the Assemblies of  God?
A:    Yes.  Our goal is to reach the whole Body of Christ and to win souls for Christ within every church denomination that will open its' door to our marriage ministry.

11.  Q: What is the cost for attending a " perfect marriage seminar?"
A:      Costs are always made affordable to all and determined by Perfect Marriage Ministries, Inc. and the hosting church.  The costs vary, depending upon weather breakfast or lunch are provided to participants.

12.     Q:  How long is a " perfect marriage " seminar?
A:    The length can vary.  Typically, the seminar begins at 7:00 PM on a Friday; resumes the next morning at 9:00 AM and closes in a powerful way at 5:00 PM.  A sample seminar schedule is available per request.

13.     Q: What is Perfect Marriage Ministries' web site address?
A:    http://www.perfectmarriage.org

14.     Q:  How can Dr. Joseph or Mary Racite be contacted?
A:    Home phone:  (856) 988-0665
       Cell phones:  Joseph:  (609) 744-7210
                            Mary:    (609) 744-7206
       Christian Family Services:  (856) 424-4408
       Fax:  (856) 424-9164
       E-mail:  marriage@comcast.net.

15.     Q: Can only one church participate at a time?
A:    We encourage Pastors of the hosting church to network with other nearby churches so more couples will have an opportunity to attend this seminar and be blessed.  Why should any married couple miss the opportunity to attain " the perfect marriage" with God's help?

16.    Q: Should couples attend who are not experiencing marital difficulties?
A:   Yes, because it is our hope that even the best marriages will be strengthened, and that marriage ministries will develop from the seminar, especially in churches who utilize cell groups.  Moreover, this seminar will equip participants for marriage ministry.

17.    Q:  Should one spouse be encouraged to still attend if the other is unable or unwilling?
A:  Most definitely!  Change in one always prompts change in the other.  We have seen this occur repeatedly and consistently!  One spouse's attendance may very well save that marriage!  It shall certainly never be the same.

18.    Q:  What are some other benefits to churches hosting a " Perfect Marriage Seminar?"
A:   Here are just a few of the many benefits from attending a " perfect marriage " seminar
1.  Couples will be better prepared for spiritual services and equipped to reach out to others in the congregation and start marriage groups.
2.  There will be less need for pastoral counseling.
